Training

Will depend on the stream and subjects you and your employer choose.
Upon your commencement as an apprentice, your employer and you will get together with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO)/TAFE and determine the streams to be undertaken using a training plan.

A training plan is a document that states how training will be delivered to an apprentice and how the units of competence that make up a qualification in the Plumbing & Services Training package will be assessed.

The training plan generally will contain:

• The parties involved in the plan
• The employers' responsibilities
• The apprentices' responsibilities
• The Training Organisation, provider of the off site training
• Time frame
• Units of Competency
