(Commonwealth Games Training Program - 2005)
Proposal to deliver the suite of greenplumber training and accreditation programs to between 20 - 40 apprentices currently working on Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth games building sites (MCG, Athlete village).
The 5 greenplumber programs will involve 14 hours face to face training as outlined below

GreenPlumbersÆ 5 Star training
(refer to course outline for full learning outcomes)
GreenPlumbersÆ Climate Care 8 hours
Hot water heating, heating & cooling - GHG abatement, customer service, energy star ratings
GreenPlumbersÆ Solar Hot Water 6 hours
State / Federal rebate schemes, solar installations, solar technology/products, OH&S
Greenplumbers Apprenticeship training program (Commonwealth Games Training program - 2005)
Proposed training schedule
2 days training (2 days/week for 2 weeks Monday, Tuesday) depending on existing employer conditions and apprenticeship training.
Proposed dates TBC
Starting February 2005 (Monday 21st & Tuesday 22nd February) & Monday 28th February, Tuesday 1st March)
All successfully completed apprentices will be listed in a special section of the greenplumbers website and given award certificates with recognition to the partners involved.
