If you are looking to employ an apprentice, there are a number of options you can pursue.

• Advertise in the situations vacant columns of local or daily newspapers

• Contact the New Apprenticeship Centres (NAC) on 1800 639 629 or visit their web site.

• Contact Group Training Companies in your area - they employ apprentices then assign them to businesses on a short or long term basis. Contact Group Training Australia on 1800 819 747 or visit their web site.

Approach local schools as career counselors may be able to put you in contact with individuals interested in doing apprenticeships
